Over the past twenty years, I've worked solo, across small teams, and lead larger teams across strategy and design and served as the bridge to engineering. I’ve led teams in shipping digital projects where I was both a director and designer, as well as other initiatives where I served as the director or subject matter expert. I've learned not only how to hire well and thoughtfully based on culture, gut-sense, and a secret mix of "I know what it takes to solve complicated problems" — but how to then grow and support a team as they take on more, learn more, and want more out of their careers and lives. This has honestly been some of the most satisfying work.

I wanted to share a look into my process and general methodology. I start with user research, pencil and paper, loads of sticky notes, and white boards and then transfer those rough ideas to Adobe XD, Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma. I've leveraged design thinking frameworks and applied them to product and app design as well as digital commerce and site design to define, specify and ultimately make the right work for the right reasons.

Say hello to me here.
